SMS can provide an independent audit review of School Fund/private accounts. We can also assist with the preparation of the year end accounts where required.
The service consists of 2 elements:
Preparation of accounts from school records. This will include the production of an income and expenditure statement and a balance sheet.
Independent Review. This element involves undertaking testing of accounting records to give assurance, or otherwise, that the financial statements for the period of review give a true and fair view of the income and expenditure, as evidenced by the school’s records and explanations.
The school will receive a report detailing the work undertaken and the results of the review, offering recommendations as applicable.
